Get your balls out!

...your MASSAGE balls! You might have seen people using foam rollers in the gym, but did you know you can do it at home using a tennis ball? Here's a short video showing you how to use a tennis ball, rubber dog ball, or spiky massage ball to ease tension that might have built up in the shoulders. Rules for ball rolling:

1. Don't go too heavy on the pressure - it's best to start off light and work up to firmer pressure.

2. DO NOT PUT PRESSURE DIRECTLY ON THE SPINE.

3. You don't need to be doing this for hours - just a couple of minutes either side. Little and often is better than constant rolling.

4. This is for the relief of tension only - if you have any injuries or health conditions please seek professional medical advice before you start rolling.

Happy rolling! V :)
